First element was with Carlo Donnoli from Capital Works, to decommission and demolish existing outdated and non-compliant restroom and replace with a 1D2A compliant amenity building. This included but not limited to design, fabricate, install rough in and connect services. Further reinstate landscape and associated access paths.
Second part of the redevelopment was with Marc Chung of the Leisure & Public Realm unit of Council. Again GR was to demolish existing out dated infrastructure (salvaging some blue stone to be reused into hardwood bench seasts) and supply and install a new shelter with a BBQ, re- connect drink fountain, install Council rubbish bins and picnic settings. Reinstate approach paths and associated landscaping.
A great example of GR working with Council to provide safer and more user friendly park upgrades.
